Arcadia Remix - Old Games With New Challenges

Arcadia Remix, developed by GameLab and published by VH1 Games, is an arcade game to put you on your toes.

You are to play several "classic" arcade games and you are to do it at the same time.

You are asked to play games like Stra3go, Drunken Mantis, Jumpy McJump, Pivitron, Full Clip etc.

At first sight the games are not difficult at all and they really are not.

But the situation changes when you are asked to play two games at the same time.

Then you find yourself playing three games simultaneously. And then finally four!

That's when the game gets really crazy. But there are some tricks that you can use to get through the challenges quickly going from one classic arcade cabinet to another.

Take advantage of the linked score meters to get the required number of points sooner.

In every level you play from one game or pair of games up to four.

You play till you get the required number of points.

You can see your progress on the score meter around the game field. It grows as you get points.

The score meters can be of one or different colors when you play more then one game at the same time.

So they will grow both whether you play either of the games or only one. So take advantage of the linked score meters.

Power-ups will make the playing easier. Try to use them as often as you can.

The game is also full of different power-ups. You can see them all in Help.

Two of the power-ups get you additional lives. Then there are those that multiply the points.

And two more - the one to get the game slower and the God Mode power-up thanks to which you can not lose lives and are very lucky.

The power-ups can be earned by collecting the rainbow orbs.

Once the rainbow bar is full, you can activate the power-up. But you can't earn any of them from the very beginning. They are available as you reach the certain levels.

You can unlock the the Endless Mode if you get far enough.

Good playing unlocks the new mode - Endless challenge.

In this mode you play four games at the same time without losing your lives making mistakes.

The graphics and sounds are very much in the-early-‘80s-arcade style. So the game will suit not everyone.

It's more for those with nostalgia for the old good times.
