Glyph - Very Attractive Match-3 Game

Glyph is a highly-polished match-3 game from Sandlot Games. As always, Astraware ported this title for portable devices including Pocket PC. The point is to unveil the glyphs by destroying the beautiful gems on the board somewhere the dying world of Kuros.

You are to destroy the gems to break through the layers of rocks to the glyphs.

Your task in Glyph is to destroy three or more gems of the same color to get to the glyphs hidden under the layers of rocks.

Usually you have much more than three gems to destroy.

By destroying the gems you get deeper in the dirt and finally unveil the glyphs.

You are to unveil several glyphs in up to 5 beautiful worlds. Each world is designed in its own style.

Use all the power-ups to destroy the stones faster.

The gems are very bright and shiny and look really nice.

When you point them the group of three or more gems that can be destroyed starts shaking.

So it's kind of a hint for you.

Along the game you get tons of power-ups that help you destroy the gemstones.

You don't have to earn the power-ups in any way.

You just get it and you can use it anytime you want. So it's good to keep the power-up for some time to let it boost its power.

You have to find ways to destroy the obsidian stones as you can not destroy them by matching.

There are also obsidian stones that are black and can not be destroyed by matching.

You should find other ways to get rid of them.

One of them is to let it fall down by matching other gems so that it doesn't cover the glyph.

And in cases when the glyph reaches the bottom of the board, wait till you get a destructive power-up.

This would be the only way to get rid of it and get to the next level.

The game features two modes: Quest and Action.

The game can be played in two modes: Quest and Action.

In the Quest Mode you are to break the gemstones to uncover the glyphs under the layers of rock and dirt.

The Action Mode is represented by a Tetris-like playing field with gemstones randomly added to the ones on it.

Your task is to destroy the gems by matching them and not let them get too high.

Though I'm not sure that it's even possible because they are added too slowly and you have to use the Push button to add the gems on your own.

The power-ups appear right among the gems in this mode.

Glyph is a really wonderful game for Pocket PC with its beautiful graphics, ethereal soundtrack, and enjoying game play.
